A poem by Laura Osborne

Yes, there’s still snow
but it ain’t gonna stay. Let’s plan ahead and wish winter away.
It doesn’t take long to rake up the lawn, move a few logs like we know we should.
Ah…the flower beds,
soon they will grow
let’s get them ready
for the yellows and reds.

Please join us on the morning of Saturday, April 29th as we say goodbye to the cold weather and get the church grounds ready for summer!  There is raking to be done, flowers to plant, mulch to lay, plants to prune, and bushes to cut.  To add to the fun, there will be coffee and a light breakfast available.  Stop in any time between 8:00 am and 12:00 pm to lend a hand because many hands make for light work.  If you have rakes, saws, pruning tools, etc that you can use, please bring them.
